Tang Soo Do is one of the most popular of Korean martial arts, practiced by hundreds of thousands around the world. Based on foot-fighting and empty-hand techniques that are both hard and soft, offensive and defensive, passive and active in nature, Tang Soo Do is a classical martial art that is steeped in tradition and the military spirit. Much of the technique is based on a clinical, scientific study of the principles involved and unique only to this style.

Tang Soo Do was created with the purpose to develop every aspect of our self, in order to create a mature personality that completely integrates intellect, body, emotions, and spirit. This integration helps to create a person who is free from inner conflict and who can deal with the outside world in a mature, intelligent, forthright, and virtuous manner. Training within this philosophy, and utilizing the structured and systematic techniques developed under this style, students quickly develop beyond expectation both physically and mentally. One of the hardest tasks parents face is helping children learn to possess the power of confidence and self-esteem. Tang Soo Do helps build those necessary strengths, as well as the added skills of self-defense, at an early age. Tang Soo Do teaches your child that through consistent training, he/she can achieve the highest state of physical and mental perfection possible, to be the best they can be!

What else do they do other than Karate?

After the morning Karate class, our students continues their activities outdoors if weather permits.

Our itinerary incorporates sportsmanship, team-work, physical fitness, and character building activities, but don't tell your kids -- they just think it's fun!

No other summer program integrates discipline, self-confidence, conflict resolution, leadership, physical fitness, martial arts training and fun into their day!

Whether hanging out at the beach, playing at the park, or enjoying one of the famously fun "Mud Day", your child will never complain of boredom again!

Our School and Camp are personally directed by Duane Pitcher (4th degree Master black belt) and his wife, Valerie Watson (3rd degree black belt) co-owners of the school and Full-Time Professional Instructors. Their Instructor Certification is Internationally recognized for superior standards and high quality.

A Typical Day:

	9:00 a.m. Karate Class
	10:30 a.m. Change clothes and pack up to go.
	10:45 a.m. Head for the great outdoors for more activities! IF IT RAINS: We follow our schedule whether or not we are outdoors. So the same activities will apply via indoor training, plus extra perks some days with rainy-day treats, kids karate movies, sumo wresting, obstacle course races, crab crawl competition, and much, much more...
	3:30 p.m. Pack up and return to the Karate School
	4:00 p.m. Back at the dojang. Kids participate in regular karate class or other activities until you pick them up.
